Cold, The Feeling of Fear On My Skin

I've been on a weird vintage kick the last week buying out stores I come across as I've been searching for furniture. The thing about me shopping is that I go to buy a couch and end up instead getting distracted and buy 49839403 outfits instead. Fail. Anyways, it's winter time, yay! Time to get those sweaters and accessories. Though I hate winter, I love that I get to accessorize my outfits more. Here we go!

Shed A Tear

I'M BACK! Kinda...Maybe...If I'm up for it, lol. Anyways, one of my favorite people on SL came out with these really cute huggy robots that I've been waiting for her to release for like 48394837 days. I really got super excited when I saw them and then proceeded to jump her in anger for not telling me she had =D. So this post is mainly to show my excitement for the robots. So it's the grandest season of them all! The season of moustaches!! Moustache Movember is awesome. Not only do you raise awareness for men's health but you also look spiffy doing it. I'm a girl but moustaches make me giggle so I've decided to wear one for at least a while on SL.

Skins, Boots & Shirts...Oh My!

So I've been wanting to blog this skin for a while since I'm soooo in love with it. I LOVE freckled skins but it's hard to find a really cute one. This skin has been on my shopping list for a while and I finally got around to getting it. What I love about this skin is the tattoo layer for freckles so it lets you wear it with other skins. This pic was untouched so I could show the sheer awesomesauceness and you could see the pretties!

Now for the outfit. I was trying to come up with a cute comfy look that wasn't slobby and this is what I came up with out of boredom.

Unicef Project

You've likely already seen this, but just in case you haven't, I'm going to post it. :)



Dear Designer,

I am contacting you on behalf of Truth Hawks, who has started a short campaign to raise money for UNICEFs current Pakistan Flood Crisis Fund.

Truth is asking for designers to put an item out with part of the profits (any percentage) going to the charity. (Vendors provided upon request). The period of time will be from the 4th to the 19th of September 2010.

These items do not need to be new, although exclusive, exisiting, discounted, any items you are willing to offer will be welcomed! Please note that if your item is set up at the sim venue your mainstore lm should be included in the item, and your logo or brand name should be on the advert as seperate prims for lm dispensers will not be permitted at the venue.

Truth believes passionately in UNICEFs immediate response to each individual world crisis, and would love for you to join this campaign to raise money. He personally will be donating 100% profits of a hairstyle, and then doubling whatever money he raises with that hairstyle towards the cause.

He has said he will advertise the fund and the venue provided for designers to sell their items in in his update group for TRUTH (30000 members), and of course I will be enlisting the help of bloggers and designers to help spread the word.

Truth is offering a sim venue for people to sell their items but encourages them to sell them in their mainstores also.

The account that will collect the proceeds is Unicef Rainfall and Truth is willing to provide full records of transaction to the charity if necessary after the event.

I've been wanting to put an oldies look together for a while now. A few weeks ago I went on a shopping bonanza and found this dress from *Crazy* and had to have it. It made me think of like a flapper dress or something. Then, though I rarely shop at Truth anymore I came across this hair and was like OMGAH!GIMMEEE! cuz I figured it'd go perfect with the dress style. THEN the awesome peeps at Skream passed along these gifts for the Fashion Rehab event and I had to wear them cuz they were so aussom!
